Types of Installation for car seat
According to ECE R44/04 regulations, there are two ways to install a car seat; either seat belt or ISOFIX.
- A. ISOFIX
ISOFIX is an internationally standardised car seat fitting system that allows you to fix your child’s car seat to your car without a seatbelt. It can automatically lock your car seat with two metal clips between the vehicle seat of your car.
- B. SEAT BELT
Seat belt is equally as effective as ISOFIX in preventing deaths and reducing injuries. You must make sure the seat belt locks to hold the seat tightly.
