According to ECE R44/04 regulations, there are two ways to install a car seat; either seat belt or ISOFIX.
ISOFIX is an internationally standardised car seat fitting system that allows you to fix your child’s car seat to your car without a seatbelt. It can automatically lock your car seat with two metal clips between the vehicle seat of your car.
Seat belt is equally as effective as ISOFIX in preventing deaths and reducing injuries. You must make sure the seat belt locks to hold the seat tightly.

Convertible car seat is used from birth until your child outgrows a car seat. This means that it lasts you longer and you get more use out of your investment. They can be used either in rear-facing or forward-facing positions depending on the size of your child.
Combination seat is used for children at least 1 year or above/ minimum weight requirement from 9kg, depending on the model you select. It can convert into a belt-positioning booster seat when your child reaches the weight at least 18kg or is at least 4 years old.
